Frresho ("we", "our", "the app") is a grocery delivery application that connects consumers with Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) stores. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used when you use the Frresho mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Phone number — used to create and sign in to your account via OTP verification.
- Profile details — your name and (optionally) email address, if you choose to provide them.
- Delivery addresses — the addresses you save for receiving orders.
- Location — with your permission, your device location is used to suggest your delivery address and show nearby FPO stores. You can deny this permission and enter addresses manually.
- Order information — the items you order, order history, and delivery status.
- Device notification token — used to send you order status notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process, deliver and track your orders.
- To share necessary order details with the FPO store and delivery partner fulfilling your order.
- To send order updates and service notifications.
- To provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Payments
Orders are currently paid via Cash on Delivery. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details in the app.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Firebase — app infrastructure and push notifications.
- OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — converting your location into a readable address.
These services receive only the minimum data needed to perform their function.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records of completed orders).
6. Security
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
7. Children
Frresho is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app, and the "Effective date" above will always reflect the latest version.
